Celebrate the Year of the Horse — Become an Endeavor Ringleader

As we celebrate the Year of the Horse, we honor the extraordinary animals at the heart of Endeavor Therapeutic Horsemanship—and the community that makes this life-changing work possible. As we move into our second decade of service, we are proud of what we accomplished together in 2025 and energized by what lies ahead in 2026.

The Impact You Make Possible

Endeavor’s 20-acre campus delivers targeted Equine Assisted Services to four core populations:

  • Children with disabilities

  • Marginalized communities

  • Veterans and active-duty military

  • Neurotypical and neurodiverse school groups

Since our founding, Endeavor has served more than 4,750 unique individuals. With our indoor riding arena, we now provide consistent, high-quality programming in every season.

Because of our Ringleader community, 2025 was a year of meaningful progress:

  • A joyful Participant Horse Show where riders celebrated confidence, independence, and skill—many for the first time

  • 100% of need-based scholarships approved, ensuring financial barriers never prevented participation

  • Expanded partnerships with Hope’s Door and The Resiliency Project

  • 55% growth in Ringleader participation since our inaugural year

This momentum exists because of donors like you.

Why the Year of the Horse Matters

Horses are our partners in healing. They help participants build trust, confidence, emotional regulation, communication skills, and physical strength.

In the spirit of the Year of the Horse, we are investing in the future of our herd and our programs so we can serve even more individuals in 2026.

Our priorities this year include:

  • Welcoming new equine partners

  • Facility upgrades to maximize usable space

  • Strengthening long-standing partnerships including Andrus and the VA

  • Continuing to grow and deepen new community relationships

Across our horses, staff, volunteers, facility, and participants, we remain deeply committed to quality and impact.

Join the Ringleaders

The Ringleaders are Endeavor’s leadership giving community—champions dedicated to sustaining and expanding our life-changing programs.

Your support funds:

  • PATH International and EAGALA credentialed programming

  • Expert instructors, equine specialists, educators, and clinicians

  • The care, training, and wellbeing of our remarkable horses

Horse Donations

Endeavor is very fortunate that most of our equine partners are here on a free lease agreement with their owners.  Each and every horse was specially selected based on temperament, conformation and movement. Endeavor offers a wide range of programs to a broad variety of participants, so we need horses to fit each and every niche. The one thing they all have in common is that they are sound at the walk, trot, and canter and have three rhythmic and balanced gaits.

Do you know of a horse that would be a good fit for Endeavor? Please fill out our Horse Owner Donation/Free Lease Inquiry Form.

If you have any questions about the form, please contact Tara at the Endeavor Farm at 914-241-0211 or Tara.Spennicchia@endeavorth.org.
