If you spent any time at all at the Endeavor Farm this summer, chances are you saw one of the Gemos hard at work. Since being introduced to Endeavor by their mother, Pauline, who does the organization’s bookkeeping, Alexander (23), Anna (20) and Zachary (18) have donated countless hours of their time to support all aspects the Center’s work. Alexander gets credit for the well painted fences throughout the property; Anna, who primarily assists participants as a sidewalker did some impressive painting herself, creating a faux "fireplace" for our minis; and Zachary helps in the barn.

Pauline says it has been wonderful to see her children embrace Endeavor and give their skills, talent and time to the organization. The benefit isn’t only one-sided, though, as Pauline says she has watched her three children grow in understanding, compassion and commitment.

Endeavor really depends on volunteers to support all aspects of the organization. There are none finer than the Gemos and we are grateful for their loyal friendship and all their hard work!
